KP SHASHIDHARAN is an alumnus from London School of Economics, Member of the Premier Civil Service, and working as Director General in the CAG of India. His contributions to Central Public Sector Enterprise’s quality financial reporting reforms, known as ‘Three Phase Audit’ and transparent On-Line Empanelment of Audit Firms, allocation of PSE audits, capacity building and pioneering Green Auditing are well acknowledged.

He has served as Member of the National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standard, Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Chairman of its Audit Committee, Member of its technical committees and associated with RBI, SEBI, Public Enterprises and Autonomous Bodies. He has been addressing academic, professional, industry and business forums. His international experience includes assignments with UN Organizations UNHCR, FAO, IAEA &INTOSAI. He is a Guest Faculty to IIMs, LBSNAAI, Administrative Staff College and other premier management institutions and addressed LSE students and European business forum.

As a free lance business columnist in English, he has been contributing articles to most of the leading national English news papers and professional journals.
