THEME THREE
JOURNEY TO INFINITE BLISS
Poems in this section are basically spiritual, philosophical and theological in content, but presented in simple, easy to understand verses bringing freshness and new romanticism. The idea is to expose the readers to some of the beautiful concepts on the secrets of creation of the living and the universe along with some benchmarked principles on life contained in the treasure house of human knowledge and wisdom, spread across different religions over many centuries, inherited by humanity from generations to generations.
The journey to bliss starts with a green poem on trees growing on temple, an icon for ecological balance and sustainable environment. The journey of life takes us to Boddhgaya, the place where Buddha got enlightenment. We move gradually learning the role of destiny and determinism in life towards improving the joy of living.
The fundamental quest to understand the purpose of life takes us to the process of self discovery through various meditation practices and techniques, metaphysical and ontological teachings of Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism explained through symbols, icons, fables, anecdotes, Mantra, Tantra, myths and mythology.
In order to reach self actualization, it becomes inevitable to cleansing and churning of mind through easy to follow path of meditation, self discovery and thereby deriving true delight in living. Purification of thought process brings qualitative change in life perspectives and thereby help to reach the ultimate objective of the journey-the infinite bliss.
The scientific interpretation of the origin of the universe provided by modern quantum mechanics and particle physics and the theological, mystic interpretation converge at the higher realms of science and religion. Even the age of universe calculated by science is more or less the same as that of Hinduism. Attempt is made to capture the beauty of mysticism and the mystery of creation of the microcosm and the macrocosm.
